Guidelines for bringing dogs to The Houf

We know how important it is to be able to take your dog with you on holidays.

We are more than happy to welcome well behaved dogs to The Houf. This is on the understanding that your dog does not climb onto the furniture and is not allowed on the bed. You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog

(it is a condition of any booking that you agree to these terms regarding dogs). If you have a puppy, it will be welcome, so long as you are confident that it is house trained, and/or maybe in a training cage at night. Please do not leave your dog alone at the property during your stay.

There is a £10 charge per stay (maximum of 2), payable before arrival which can be added as an extra at the end of your booking. If this extra is missed I will send you a payment link for you to transfer the payment. If you have difficulty with this (particularly overseas visitors) I am happy for you to leave cash in the property, when vacating.

We ask that your dog is supervised,  and not allowed to bark excessively, respect ourselves and neighbours, and that you clean any dog mess from the garden. Please do not let your dog into our neighbours gardens. Please bring your own dog bedding/throws, towels, bowls etc.

You will find many lovely walks in the area for you and your furry friend to enjoy and many pubs/eateries locally welcome well behaved dogs. (Please see the welcome book).
